Important information for Patients

’24hrs Notice’ Cancellation Policy
 
Poldent Dental Care operates ‘24hrs notice’ appointment cancellation policy. 
 
Poldent Dental Care reserves the right to cancel appointment if a patient is not replying to reminder messages, and to offer it to patients awaiting emergency appointments.
 
Poldent Dental Care reserves the right to charge non-refundable deposits (of up to £50 per appointment) in advance of next appointment to secure next booking.
 
‘24hrs notice’ applies for all appointments except for the oral and maxillofacial clinic’s appointments where ‘48hrs notice’ applies. If a patient fails to effectively cancel appointment, the deposit will be fortified.
 
Deposits can be made in cash or card payments only.
 
After three (3) missed appointments, the practice may at its discretion choose to discontinue your care.
 
 
Late to Appointment Policy
 
Poldent Dental Care reserves the right to reschedule any appointments without notice in case a patient is late 5 minutes or more. If you are an established patient and you are 5 minutes late or more to your appointment you will likely be asked to rescheduled, unless the schedule can still accommodate you. Priority will be given to the patients who arrive on time and you may have to be worked in between them.  This may mean you will have a considerable wait. If this is not convenient for you, you may choose to reschedule.
